EVAPPlus™
The EVAPPlus™ plate-type evaporator is a fully welded heat exchanger without any gaskets, designed specifically for the sugar refining industry The plate pack core consists of pressed, roller seam-welded stainless steel plates forming two separate flow chambers; one tube-shaped channel and one wave-shaped channel.

The low weight and reduced space requirements of the EVAPPlus™ plate-type falling-film evaporator opens up new possibilities for plant designers and operating companies. Its competitive advantages include not only higher Uo values (metric: k-value) and smaller temperature differences, but also possible retrofitting into an existing Robert evaporator.

Hundreds of units are in use world-wide, totaling over than 3,000,000 ft² of heat transfer area:
